Asalamu Alaykum folks! Happy Friday!

I hope all of you are in the best of health and imaan. I am still not yet in NY, but hope to be going in the next 2 months inshallah. I received some great news that has my roommate and I singing and dancing, a big relief to an issue I have been facing since last year alhamdoolilah.

Sultana is growing up healthy, happy, and one of the most manipulative children you will see to date. She is super spoiled by everyone around her and lives up to her name terrifyingly.

As for the business, it had to be put on complete hold as a result of the move. All my products are in storage and my focus has been on other things. Unfortunately, I refunded the money for selling at the bazaar (ISNA) in August as I know not opening in May, not being able to finish the lookbook…all these things meant it would not be viable to sell at the convention.

A part of me feels defeated but another part of me is unaffected and still burning with passion for the future. What this means is everything is going to be pushed back later this year. The first order, is moving to NY, then everything in its due time will fall into place including me going with this blog at full force. I am so excited alhamdoolilah of what’s to come and I can’t wait inshallah till the day when I can finally open up shop!
